New England Ski For Light explorers and guides had a wonderful time on a trip to Spectacle Island July 19, 2025. The weather turned out to be perfect, and a beautiful beach breeze pervaded the island. We took the ferry over, walked the broad walking paths, picnicked outdoors, and generally enjoyed the sunshine and the island. Our sighted guides were able to describe the Boston skyline and the other islands around us. We had a great ferry trip home and everyone concluded it was a great place for future guide and explorer events.
