Code of Conduct

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund policies vary by event. Please check the specific event details or contact us for the policy that applies to your event.

Weather/Modification Policy

Event organizers monitor conditions and make adjustments as needed. In some cases, activities may be modified (for example, switching from skiing to snowshoeing) or events may be rescheduled. Safety is always the top priority.

Transportation

For multi-day away trips, NESFL coordinates transportation. This may include van rentals or carpool arrangements. A transportation coordinator contacts participants roughly two weeks before each event to arrange rides and share directions. For day trips, public transportation and driving directions are provided.

Medical Condition or Accessibility Need (beyond vision loss)

Please let us know when you register so we can plan accordingly. Our organizers work to accommodate a range of needs, and venues are selected with accessibility in mind.

Safety & Health

All guides are trained in safe guiding practices. Event organizers conduct ongoing assessments, and feedback is collected after every event to continuously improve safety. Participants and guides are expected to be in adequate physical condition for their chosen activities and must take responsibility for their own health.
